Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus and for everyone according to their needs
Merciful God, you sent your angel to proclaim an eternal gospel to every nation, tribe, language, and people. Empower your church across the globe to boldly invite all creation to fear you, give you glory, and worship you alone as the Maker of heaven and earth, refusing the false securities and compromises of our current age. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Almighty God, you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When kingdoms totter, nations rage, and the very foundations of our world seem to shake, grant us the grace to be still and know that you are God. Protect your people in times of crisis, make wars cease to the ends of the earth, and remain our steadfast fortress. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Gracious Lord, you have declared that no human being is justified by the works of the law, for all have sinned and fall short of your glory. Thank you for justifying us freely by your grace, as a gift through the redemption in Christ Jesus, who bore our sins as our propitiation. Silence our boasting, strip away our self-righteous efforts to earn your favor, and anchor our hearts entirely in your saving righteousness received through faith alone. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Everliving God, we bring before you all members and friends of St. Paul’s who are hospitalized, homebound, or residing in nursing facilities, as well as any who are enduring physical, mental, or spiritual suffering. Comfort all whose lives have been impacted by recent loss. We give thanks for the faithful saints who served in this congregation and now rest in your presence, remembering Bob McCanless especially today. Surround his family and loved ones with your compassion in their time of sorrow, and grant them the restoration of your abiding peace. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Visitor Info
If you live in the area or are passing through, please worship with us in-person. We also livestream our services on this page.
Expect traditional worship with liturgy and Holy Communion each Sunday and a message grounded in the Scriptures and guided by the Lutheran Confessions — all in a friendly, multigenerational environment.
We welcome and encourage children to worship with us. Just before the sermon, our children take up a spare change offering for mission. Then they join one of our pastors on the chancel steps for a chat about today's Scriptures. We think you will love this part of the service.
